Regional Sales Representative for Gulf Coast Region including South and West Texas, Louisiana & Mississippi

Purpose of Position:  

Regional Sales Representative is responsible for equipment sales and rentals in an assigned territory. This includes working with and growing the existing customer base, as well as finding and developing new customers. Regional Sales Representative should have a thorough understanding of jobs being performed in the territory, materials being used, location and time estimates. They should be on constant lookout for new opportunities to use vacuum lifting technology while not losing sight of our core business in the oil and gas markets. This position will report directly to the Gulf Coast Sales Director.

Responsibilities:  

  • Office from Houston, Texas
  • Work with and grow the market with existing customer base
  • Find and develop new markets for equipment sales and rental
  • Support and add new distribution channels as required
  • Cover the entire assigned territory
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly established equipment sales goals
  • Operate within established budgets
  • Serve as Vacuworx representative for local associations and conferences
  • Possess thorough understanding of Vacuworx products and their capabilities
  • Possess working knowledge of upcoming jobs to be performed in their territory and companies awarded those jobs
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory of all demo equipment in territory
  • Develop and work a territory plan
  • Travel up to 75% of the time
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: Construction: 3 years (preferred)

Education: Associate Degree (preferred)
